A MAN who had been made redundant from his previous job has set up a pest control service.
Andy Passmoor has set up Town and Country Pest Control in County Durham, which works across the region to deal with urban and agricultural pest problems, and has already won work from clients including the RSPCA.
The entrepreneur, from Sacriston, had been out of work for ten months, but received help to start his businesss from Be Enterprising, Durham County Council’s Local Enterprise Growth Initiative.
He said: “Being a one-man business allows me to offer a more personal service to customers. I am the one they speak to on the telephone and the one they discuss the case with on site.”
